Chef – Deli, Restaurant and Special Events

Are you a creative and excellent chef looking for something new and different?

Our 60-acre farm grows a large variety of organic vegetables and fruit. As a farm cooperative, we source the things we don’t grow on our own farm from other Oregon farmers and food artisans who share our ethics and commitment to quality.

We have a commercial kitchen facility and grocery store on our farm and your job will be to lead a team of staff to explore the endless possibilities of combining creative cooking with the freshest and best ingredients.

At an everyday level, your job will involve creating and producing a whole range of prepared foods for sale at our farm store deli — everything from season-extending preserves and jellies to full meals that use the bounty of the fields in creative ways.

There will be times when the bounty of the fields will require a frenzy of activity to “put up”.

Friday evenings in the summer will find you at our wood-fired oven tossing pizzas for Happy Hour.

Special Events on the Farm. You’ll also have the opportunity to showcase the best of Oregon’s harvest at a variety of private and ticketed farm-to-table style events throughout the year.

The job involves a wide range of tasks in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. All of this in a worker-owned cooperative situated on a beautiful and vibrant farm.
